Hi, I'm Amanda Shayle, Licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.  I have been in acupuncture practice for over 20 years, sharing my knowledge of women's health and beauty treatment methods with other professionals.

As a woman of a 'certain age' life can get really overwhelming, especially when you're  navigating the complexities of life after 50. Between post-divorce challenges, juggling children, moving houses, studies, business, and a myriad of health issues, it's easy to feel lost and disconnected.

For a long time, I was stuck in this very cycle, asking myself, "Will I ever feel like myself again?" Despite my background in healthcare, I couldn't see what was right in front of me. The root of my struggles? Menopause.

With the help of my friend Tessa and my supportive colleagues, I finally understood that menopause was the invisible force affecting every aspect of my life. It was a groundbreaking realization, yet initially, I did not believe it would be possible to be me again.

I made it through and can walk again - avoiding surgery (more about my story below) so:
